Admitting Rights

Doctors seeking accreditation at Maryvale Private Hospital should visit the Credentialing page or contact the Executive Office on 03 5132 1201 

Medical Admissions:

Medical admissions may be arranged by a General Practitioner. Such admissions can be accepted by any credentialled VMO or a member of our VMO On-Call team inclusive of:

• Dr Anthony Boers
• Dr David Ogilvy
• The Gippsland Physician Group is comprised of four physicians providing shared care at Maryvale.
  • Tim Coughlan
  • Derk Pol
  • Trung Quach
  • Zaal Meher-Homji 

If you wish to arrange a medical admission, please follow the process detailed below

1. Do you or your patient have a medical condition which requires a day or overnight admission?
2. Are you or your patient covered by Private Health, DVA, TAC, Work Cover or Self-Funded?
3. To arrange an admission, ask your GP to call our Nurse In Charge directly on 5132 1205.
4. Forward any admission related information by email to north@maryvaleph.com.au
5. Our team will contact the patient to confirm acceptance and admission details.

Surgical Admissions

Surgical referrals may be arranged by a General Practitioner. Such admissions can be accepted by any credentialed surgeon.

Do you or your patient require surgery?

1. Are you or your patient covered by Private Health, DVA, TAC, Work Cover or Self-Funded?
2. To arrange a surgical consultation, ask your GP to write a referral letter to your surgeon of choice or download and print the Maryvale Referral Form link below
3. Contact surgeons’ rooms for appointment.
